After 2 years of using my A4Tech SWOP-3 optical mouse I decided to change it. Not cause it was not working or cause was something wrong with it, just that I got bored with it. For a while I wanted a Logitech mouse, but did not have the time to go and buy one, not 'till now. After bugging the site for a few hours I decided which one to buy, the Logitech LX3 Optical Mouse.

It comes in a pretty box. The mouse is nice and shiny. In the box I received a PS/2 adapter, but I am not using it since I have USB ports. On the Logitech site they say it contains a "CD with SetPoint™ software"... but I did not receive one. After connecting the mouse to the computer the OS(windoze xp) recognized the device and installed some drivers. It's comfortable to use, feels nice at touch. The only problem I encountered was the missing software. Usually when you buy a product that requires additional software or drivers in the box you receive a CD. With the LX3 you only receive a manual. I was looking for software cause the mouse has left and right scrolling and by default OS drivers didn't work. I downloaded SetPoint™ and installed it. After installation I configured it and all done.

I am a happy owner of a Logitech device.
