After many days of research I finally bought a notebook. As the post title says, it is a DELL Inpiron 1520 Sunshine Yellow. When I got the box, I could not wait and I opened it. I did not expect to be a nice yellow, but it is. It is like metallic and at touch it feels like rubber. It was a little heavy.

Specifications: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 1.66 GHz, 1024 MB (2x512) DDR2 SDRAM, 15.4" WXGA TFT TrueLife, nVidia GeForce 8400M GS @ 128 MB, 120GB SATA Samsung, DVD-RW, High Definition Audio 2.0, Wireless, Bluetooth, Webcam.

I pressed the power button. All went fine, but there was no OS installed. I had to restart and enter the BIOS to set the boot sequence, saved the settings, inserted the Windows XP Media Center CD into the reader then I restarted.

After finishing installing I had to install the drivers from the CD received from DELL. Surprise, not XP drivers found, only for Vista. Moved to the desktop PC and started searching on the support site for drivers. I found a few drivers, but many were not for my Inspiron 1520. I downloaded most of what sounded like familiar, copied them on a flash card, from the card to the notebook. I started installing the drivers. Then when finally I started installing the Bluetooth I could not install it. Sure I did something wrong. I googled about it, but did not find any answers so I decided to reinstall the OS then driver by driver. After 3 attempts I fond the driver that I should not have been installed, then I reinstalled AGAIN the OS and all good drivers. Now is up and running.

@adrian: Yes it's yellow, actually, sunshine yellow. And as I wrote above, at touch feels like rubber. And of course on my yellow you can't see the fingerprints like on your black. :)

My yellow is out of the black box.

You should complain to Dell, they are good at giving compensation. That is ridiculous for them to forget to install OS.
