Our hopes vanished when we found out we will not be able to leave the country only by train. Then the other problem was that the Hungarian train company was on strike. Then we got lucky, they decided to suspend the strike a few days before we had to leave. As always I hate to depend on others.
The train left from Timisoara (Romania) early in the morning. We were surprised that we got a 1st class wagon, however we payed for 2nd class. This was all good. After we arrived to Budapest (Hungary) we found our next train to Vienna (Austria) in less then 5 minutes and got to our places. It was a really long and boring trip. What can you do on a train?!? I didn't post since august. It was about time to write something new. Well... I bought myself a car. A brand new one. It is a Hyundai Accent, 1.6 liter, 4 doors, automatic transmission and it cost me around 14.000 €.
Why did I choose to buy this one? It is really simple... cause for that amount of money I had no other options. Of course before buying the Accent I checked other car makers and models. None of them offered so many extras for the car.
I checked first a Skoda Fabia. It was around 11.000 € with not many extras. Only front electrical windows, just frontal airbags, no alloy wheels, no commands on the steering wheel. With the extras I have on the Accent, the Fabia would be around 14.000 € and for sure is smaller. Then I went to check out the VolksWagen (VW) Golf V at 17.000 ...read more

I waited more than 1 month to receive the license to detain, carry and use a self defense gun. I had a lot of headache to get all the paperwork together to fulfill the requirements. I had to go to doctors, psychologist and police, spend a lot of money so they would approve that I'm healthy (not that I wouldn't be), then pay some taxes, a lot of bureauacracy. But now all that is over.
I received the license yesterday (4th August 2008) and the same day I want to buy the gun. I'm talking about a Mauser HSc mod 90. The caliber used is 10x22T. Can fire blanks, gas and rubber bullets. I'm allowed to fire only rubber bullets with it. I didn't tested it yet, but I will, in the shooting range facility. I hope I'll never be forced to use it on somebody, human or animal.
