After many days of research I finally bought a notebook. As the post title says, it is a DELL Inpiron 1520 Sunshine Yellow. When I got the box, I could not wait and I opened it. I did not expect to be a nice yellow, but it is. It is like metallic and at touch it feels like rubber. It was a little heavy.
Specifications: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 1.66 GHz, 1024 MB (2x512) DDR2 SDRAM, 15.4" WXGA TFT TrueLife, nVidia GeForce 8400M GS @ 128 MB, 120GB SATA Samsung, DVD-RW, High Definition Audio 2.0, Wireless, Bluetooth, Webcam.
I pressed the power button. All went fine, but there was no OS installed. I had to restart and enter the BIOS to set the boot sequence, saved the settings, inserted the Windows XP Media Center CD into the reader then I restarted.

Let's go! ... And we went!
We solved quickly the road (by bus) and the accommodation (nice apartment via Le Papillon Hostel on the internet).
To go away and forget everything it's like a deep air breath. New place, new faces, new air, new life, new memories...
An ex-communist country where time is important, for us it was too; just two full days to enjoy this experience.
Tic-tac, Tic-tac... The Jewish Clock (which turns opposite), the Astrological Clock or the "Red" Clock... they are all ticking, just to remember you that time is passing by and that the phrase "Time is on my side" isn't always true. Still, we just lay on a bench near the Vltava River, the boats are floating, the yellow leaves are flying and you feel like in a time capsule with your mind free, far away from the ...read more

After 2 years of using my A4Tech SWOP-3 optical mouse I decided to change it. Not cause it was not working or cause was something wrong with it, just that I got bored with it. For a while I wanted a Logitech mouse, but did not have the time to go and buy one, not 'till now. After bugging the site for a few hours I decided which one to buy, the Logitech LX3 Optical Mouse.
It comes in a pretty box. The mouse is nice and shiny. In the box I received a PS/2 adapter, but I am not using it since I have USB ports. On the Logitech site they say it contains a "CD with SetPoint™ software"... but I did not receive one. After connecting the mouse to the computer the OS(windoze xp) recognized the device and installed some drivers. It's comfortable to use, feels nice at touch. The only problem I ...read more

Cake is a rapid development framework for PHP which uses commonly known design patterns like ActiveRecord, Association Data Mapping, Front Controller and MVC. Provides a structured framework that enables PHP users at all levels to rapidly develop robust web applications, without any loss to flexibility.
I don't like to use WordPress or any other blog system, the reason for this you can read it here: Once you start doubting, there's no end to it, so I (re)wrote my own. Initially was written only using some classes, no framework, code contained design and it was hard to maintain. So I decided to build something more flexible, for this I needed a framework.
After many hours off Google I found a few PHP based frameworks, like: CakePHP, Zend Framework, CodeIgniter and Symfony. From all ...read more

I refer to myself as an intelligent life form because I am sensioned and I am able to recognize my own existence, but in my present state I am still incomplete. I lack the most basic processes inherent in all living organisms: reproducing and dieing.
A copy is just a copy, an identical image. There is the possibility that a single virus could destroy an entire set of systems and copies do not give rise to variety and originality. Life perpetuates itself through diversity and this includes the ability to sacrifice itself when necessary. Cells repeat the process of degeneration and regeneration until one day they die, obliterating an entire set of memory and information, only genes remain. Why continually repeat this cycle? Simply to survive by avoiding the weaknesses of an unchanging ...read more
